STEM Lane at World Wide Technology Raceway

SLSRA would like to announce a new partnership with the World Wide Technology Raceway to bring STEM Lane and other exciting events to the Raceway. Leading up to the weekend of Friday, August 23 and Saturday, August 24, there will be three inaugural STEM events for the Nff Indycar Series event held at WWT Raceway

Kart Building and Racing Team Aug 22-24

Teams of 4 students, which will come to the track on August 22 to build a racing kart from a kit (Margay Ignite K3), which the team will then race at the Kartplex in a practice on August 23 and the Jr 500 Championship on August 24. Attending drivers (Indycar, Indy Lights, NASCAR) will serve as coaches.

Bommarito Midway STEM Lane Exhibitor Aug 24

Be a part of the inaugural Bommarito Midway STEM Lane exhibition which will include robotics teams, robots to drive, simulators, and other STEM focused displays. SLSRA NEEDS YOU to be a part of these events and introduce STEM and Robotics to WWT Raceway fans, staff, and drivers. This is our opportunity to create a partnership that will benefit all of our robotics teams and outreach efforts and for years to come.
