Rover Ruckus at the Science Center

March 1 is First Friday at the Science Center, and that means an evening of themed fun. The theme in March is Steampunk! And SLSRA is putting on an exhibition FTC meet on center stage. Your team is invited to join the meet, bring your pit decorations, your steampunk costumes, and your team spirit. Pits will be in May Hall, set up to permit steampunked visitors to come through and learn about robotics.

This exhibition meet format will have some slight modifications from the norm, including an award for the top ranked team, and some parts giveaways. One especially noteworthy modification: decorate/accessorize your robot for the steampunk theme, and compete for the H. G. Wells award! Steampunk accessories can extend outside the 18" sizing box limits, within reason, so use your imagination!

RSVP by February 15, 2019, and we are limited to the first 12 teams who reply. We also have 3 more openings for the exhibition meet on Saturday, March 2, same place, and you are welcome to play in both meets
